Basically, whilst totalling up the amounts I'd been charged, I found that on one occasion I was charged 6 times within a month. These were all in the space of about 10 days. The total ended up being £120. It wasn't the only time it happened, on another occasion I was charged 5 times and on another I was charged 4 times.
Are there any rules stating that you can only get a certain amount of unauthorised overdraft fees (or paid referrals) applied? I could have sworn that the letter the bank used to send out said that they'd only charge me 3 times in any one month.
Whats the lowdown on this please? This may well strengthen my case I'm thinking.
Thanks for any help.
Ross

Hi! Ive looked into this with regards halifax/BOS They can take a maximum of 3 charges per day for unpaid DD's etc +3 per day for paid DD's etc
Sometimes they took £150 per day off me 2-3 days in 1 week0

Its very misleading that the banks tell you this as I was under the same impression as you and have suffered similar charges, bankrupt again is correct.
