Well I think that goes without saying- if there's no such thing as a free lunch there won't be a free weekend (or whatever!!) You may , of course have no intention of buying........just go for the look see. I just posted what I found!

I had a look at the one in Carbis Bay St Ives and was horrified at the price. I had a look on Rightmove and was even more horrified at similar properties, need a lottery win!

According to their T & C you must have one guided tour of the complex during the 2 days. Other than that you presumably are free to do whatever you wish.

What concerns me most is the likelihood of being contacted/swamped afterwards.

They must know people will take them up on the offer without the slightest intention of buying!

I had a look at the prices. I'd expect a country mansion - well, at least a country cottage - for those sort of prices.

You don't have to part-exchange your house, you have the option of selling on the open market.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
