Disney on Ice

Just seen an advert for this and seen it's at Wembley around my birthday in April.
Has anyone been to this? Was thinking of taking my 5yr old and 3yr old girls there. Would it be the kind of thing they would like or are they too young?
Just want some opinions before I think about booking. Trying to get on to the website, but can't at the moment for some reason.

Hi,
We've been a couple of times. Most recently just last month with our 12, 6 & 3yr olds, 6 & 3 yr olds both loved it, 3 yr old was mesmerized. Just a pre-warning though, lots of Disney tat for sale at extortionate prices.

It's expensive.
Shop around for tickets. They often have cheaper options going. Dicsount codes for different company offers etc.
They even had free tickets going a few years back (that was good!)."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
We went to Liverpool echo arena. We have 6,8 and 10 yr olds who loved it. We made a day of it and went to the 5pm show, we went to the disney store in Liverpool, let the kids buy toys etc there saves a fortune.
We took our own sweets and bottled water and bought an ice cream each there.0 -
Is it the Worlds of Fantasy one? We've been twice; it starts off with cars driving on the ice, then a little mermaid scene, then a tinkerbell one before the interval. After the interval the whole second half is a reenactment of Toy Story 3.
It's a good mix for boys and girls, but as another poster said the merchandise is mostly rubbish, half of it doesn't even look like official disney stuff! But if you can get tickets for a decent price definitely take them x0 -
I agree OP - at your children's ages they will absolutely love Disney on Ice

I've taken my now 8yr old dd 3 times. When she was 5,6 and 7.
We plan to go again this year (we go to the ones over Xmas at the O2 in Greenwich as it's closer to our house) and I am going to take my other dd who will be 3.5.
It's amazing. Dd1 loves it and so do I!
Food and merchandise is extoriante, but I plan ahead. Depending on the time of the show we get something to eat before or after. My dd is allowed one treat (we keep taking our same disney on ice cup back to every show). This year she had candle floss which came with a tiara and £9 price tag!
We took in drinks and sweets.
I plan to take my girls most years until they don't want to go anymore !0 -
I haven't been to Wembley but have been to the Disney on Ice at Sheffield Arena. I went with my niece from her being about 5 and the last one was when she was 9. To be honest it was one of those, "Mum's taking me to see Disney on Ice, will you come???" Not wanting the puppy dog eyes of course I went along and have to say I actually ended up enjoying it more than I thought! I didn't realise I knew the words to so many Disney songs! But I digress, yes I reckon your kids will love it. Although like some others have said food and merchandise was a bit steep!0
