UKPC Glasgow

Hi First time user
I was meeting someone for coffee at Weatherpersons Breahead in Glasgow.
I was parked in the Disabled bay directly outside Weatherpersons I was there for approximately 2 hours drinking and purchasing coffee.
When I returned I discovered I had a parking charge from UKPC.
I am a blue badge holder and am the registered owner of the car and have been both for a number of years but unfortunately I had forgotten to display the badge.
Any suggestions ( including pay up If you think is Should)
Regards
Temac

Why should you pay anything? You made a small mistake, no-one was inconvenienced, no-one lost any money. Others will explain the hoops you now have to jump through, but when you have cost these pariahs a lot of money I am sure that you will be glad you did.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

This was in Glasgow ? In that case you have no hoops to jump through, just ignore the fake "fine".

You will receive a succession of letters, threatening to charge you more, ruin your credit rating, send the boys round to kneecap you, etc. You'll then receive a letter from Graham White's solicitors demanding the sacrifice of your first-born child. Make sure you keep all of these - once shredded they make excellent hamster bedding.

Eventually, just like the school bully, they'll get bored of harassing you and go away in the hope of finding some other mug to fleece.

Do not, under any circumstances, contact them in any way. This will make them think they've got a bite, and will try even harder to reel you in.

The bottom line is, just ignore everything from them and their cronies.

IMPORTANT. This advice only holds true in Scotland - the English law is slightly different and you have to go down the Popla appeal route, as per the stickies on here.

Ignore UKPC, they are scunners and bams and have no chance of enforcing this.

Yup - Just ignore them - No chance of anything beyond a few letters in Scotland.

Also, Blue bages don't apply on private property, whis is an Equality Act breach in itself.
