"Each year HMRC issues various types of forms and letters to PAYE employee customers. These forms and letters showed different tax office names and addresses. Customers used these addresses when writing to HMRC about their tax affairs.
HMRC now have a national computer system for PAYE which allows HMRC to manage work nationally, meaning customer records can be worked by staff in any location. Using different tax office names and addresses doesn’t support this new flexibility and can lead to delays in post handling."
This has replaced individual tax office names and addresses with three PO Box addresses.[/B]
I suspect that this is what applies to your father's affairs?0 -

not at all; you or your father just need to give them the information they need to identify him. Is it pertinent to ask why he doesn't keep P60s or payslips or PAYE Coding notices? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

Sorry to be blunt but that is a totally stupid answer. One little piece of paper per year, and one of the most important in certain circumstances. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
