VAX shampoo expired or not?

Bright sunny day, wanted to shampoo carpets, but bottle of VAX AAA carpet shampoo given to me by relative has no expiry date printed on it. I'm sure it's around 2 years old, so question is, is it safe to use?

Don't want to chuck it out if it's useable, but do old detergent mixes like this deteriorate?

Mix a bit in the sink - if it mixes with the water OK that's a good start.

Try a test patch - behind a door is my preferred location. If after an hour it looks OK, carry on the good work!

Solution mixed well after a good shake and i've just completed patch test with no adverse effects. Off we go!
