Can Microsoft wireless keyboard pair with other usb receiver?

I used to have Microsoft desktop 800 keyboard & mouse combo.
However, I lost the mouse with the usb receiver.
I wonder if anyone know if I can purchase new MS wireless mouse and pair the keyboard with it.
I knew Logitech have that function, but I can't seems to able to find if microsoft has similar thing.

Another Microsoft one of the same age would do the job, a Logitech one would not. If it's bluetooth then it'll be universally compatible but unfortunately so many mice and keyboards aren't.0

Yes if it is generic Bluetooth anything will work with anything pretty much... If it's some other unusual 'proprietary 2.4 Ghz-ish radio link' you'll need similar manufacturer and aged kit0
