Replacing kitchen tap with Brita Ceto tap - Plumbing question

Hello,
We are looking to replace our kitchen tap with a Brita Ceto tap. On checking our exisiting tap I noticed that the copper pipes (hot and cold) are fitted straight into the tap.
I suspect that the plumber (old school) believes this is a more reliable (we have high pressure of 2 bar), hence direct copper pipe fitting rather than braided hose type fitting.
The question I have is should we continue with the copper pipe fitting or should we consider changing to the braided hose to make the fitting of the new Brita tap easier.
Your thoughts and suggestions please.

Copper tends to make the tap more stable, so if I have the choice I stick with copper - nothing worse than a wobbly tap!

If your old tap is a monoblock then some come with solid tails & some with flexi's, if it's a deck sink mixer then it's normal to have copper right to the tap, neither of these makes your plumber "old school"I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
