Private Space - Lease Terms Interpretation

  • I understand there's a battle between "just make it go away" and fighting the good fight against the PPCs.

    From my perspective, I'll be:
    a) Appealing via POPLA (although I've since received a Debt Collection notice so will have to drag it back to that stage).
    b) Continuing discussions that I've started to have with other residents. After speaking to a couple of neighbours who've had similar issues, I'll attempt to collect a number of names and submit this to the estate management team in an attempt to get rid of the PPC altogether.

Thanks all once again for your advice and perspective.

Nice plan, yours is a good example of a robust fightback against the scam that is PPC World infesting car parks. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But CM, this is not a car park, this is a parking space allocated to a resident. OP is not parking there with the permission of the landowner, to all intents and purposes, he IS the landowner. He should now make life hell for the PPC. I certainly would in his position.

What does the lease say about parking and bringing in new rules?
Rememebr that the lease is the fundamantal and legally binding contract.
But hey! how many people read the lease?!
    Unscrupulous MAs exploit this.

Having had to fight Warwick Estates and successfully, it looks like its another example of scaremongering tactics by Warwick Estates.

You bought the flat and the allocated parking space.
