RBS Card Plz Help

Hi all,

I applied for a RBS CC last night and phoned them today to see how the application went. I was told they need extra info and are sending me out a letter which I should recieve in the next 7-10 days. I asked what extra info is needed and she said "I think it will be a copy of your bank statement and a recent utility bill"

Im wondering if anyone else has had to do this when applying for a RBS card? Im self employed so it may have something to do with that?

From the sound of that reply they want to confirm who you are and the address you now live at.
Just take it as a further clarification at this stage and send the requested information back to them wait three days for delivery (if there is no postal strike where you live ) and give customer services a polite call and ask how the application is progressing.
Hopefully you should get what you want.
