Hi,
Currently with BT. No contract as far as I know, think it's just rolling month to month now..
I don't make any voice calls. don't even have a handset plugged in.
I upgraded my mobile phone just over a year ago during the orange free broadband saga and managed to keep the free bb until the end of my contract (dec 2014).
So, all I need is the line rental. howver, if I have to sing up for a min of 12mths then I need something with a good price BB option as I do not know what is going to happen to my free BB once my current phone contract is up.
I did have a offer (just before I upgraded my phone) from EE offering BB and line rental for £14.99 a month but I didn't really want to sign up at the time as I was contract free from bt. However, the BT price has gone up twice since then so looking for a better deal now..

Look on the phone section of the main board, there is a section on line rental deals:

Not that I'm recommending Primus...No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Primus are cheapest but there have been a few complaints....
Going through cashback websites or comparison websites will make it cheaper.
Post office next cheapest if you pay a year up front, but have a look at what features comes with the line rental, some companies might not include caller display like plusnet if you pay for a year upfront. Caller Display with BT is available to new and existing customers online free for 12 months with a new 12 month line rental contract (usually £1.75 a month).
