Esta or visa??? Help please

Hi I have a driving conviction which is a IN10 driving uninsured from around 5 years ago. Does this mean I have to apply for a visa to USA or can I apply for ESTA and answer no to the following question:

Have you ever been arrested or convicted for an offense or crime involving moral turpitude or a violation related to a controlled substance; or been arrested or convicted for two or more offenses for which the aggregate sentence to confinement was five years or more; or been controled substance trafficker; or are you seeking entry to engage in criminal or immoral activities?

I have no other convictions or have never been arrested in my life. Rather than plead guilty by post I went to court to explain what had happened and why. Resulting in me getting a £100 fine, 28 day DQ and nil points.

Is the IN10 a conviction where I would be accepted through a ESTA by answering no, only to find when I get to the USA I get shipped straight back home.

Thanks for looking any advice would be much appreciated.

Google the definition of Moral Turpitude, but I don't think most driving offences come under that so you should be OK with an ESTA. However check it out.

Since this http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/86942.pdf lists "Drunk or reckless driving" (the only driving offence mentioned) as specifically NOT involving moral turpitude, I think it's safe to conclude that your offence would not constitute MT.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

    You can travel using ESTA.

Multiple DUI's can cause problems (but not under MT)
