    Hi

I can't comment on those 2 particular tablets but I bought my 10 year old daughter the Hudl from Tesco. It might only be 7" but I can't fault it. The touchscreen is super sensitive just like an iPad. I think the resolution is higher than the original iPad mini. If you can use Tesco points so if you double them up you could get it £60 otherwise it is £119.99. She plays minecraft on it with no issues at all.
Two big benefits are it's a quad core processor and you get full access google play store. This is something the kindle does not.
    Cheers
    Ben

personally, I'd go with the second... got one similar last year and it's stll fine now... at a third of the price, it's saving half the cost of a replacement in a couple of year's time right from the start :) Also, Jellybean is newer and slightly better than ICS
