I am really not good with technology at all. My 9 year old has a v. limited budget for a tablet. He really only needs it for games such as minecraft and some music. He has seen two he likes but I am not sure which is better, so would really appreciated some help. He has seen ;

or
NEW 2014 TABTRONICS 9" Q9ICE Android Tablet PC - ANDROID 4.2.2 Jelly Bean - DUAL CORE CPU - 1024 x 600 HD Capacitive Touch Screen 1024 x 600 - Dual Cameras- BLUETOOTH - HDMI in WHITE
Are any of these any good for him or is there a better alternative. Any ideas or help would be really appreciated,
thank you

Hi
I can't comment on those 2 particular tablets but I bought my 10 year old daughter the Hudl from Tesco. It might only be 7" but I can't fault it. The touchscreen is super sensitive just like an iPad. I think the resolution is higher than the original iPad mini. If you can use Tesco points so if you double them up you could get it £60 otherwise it is £119.99. She plays minecraft on it with no issues at all.
Two big benefits are it's a quad core processor and you get full access google play store. This is something the kindle does not.
Cheers

I second the Hudl, plus you get tesco pointsIn The Silence Of The Night, We Still Hear Their Screams...0

personally, I'd go with the second... got one similar last year and it's stll fine now... at a third of the price, it's saving half the cost of a replacement in a couple of year's time right from the start
Also, Jellybean is newer and slightly better than ICS ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
