Hey guys,
I received a CCJ in December about 2 days before my DRO was finalised. The court were asking for about £150 a month for 3 months to pay off what I owed, however upon listing Capital One (The debt I owed) under the DRO, neither the company or the courts have been chasing me for any money, no communication at all......So I was wondering if I could get the CCJ to be satisfied or even removed as the debt was in the process of being written off?
Any advice is greatful
Thanks

Talk to the court to see if they think they will agree to have it marked as satisfied. If they go strictly by the rules the register of judgement and fines works on, then probably they won't be able to, but have heard of the occesional court allowing it so does not harm to ask.
Satisfied or not, the CCJ is not as bad as the DRO marker as that is either shown as a bankruptcy or is consdiered as bad, So in comparison for the 6 years the CCJ and wheter it is satisfied or not will have minimal to no impact.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
