Water saving freebies
Most Water Compaies are offering free water saving devices. I sent for a gubbins that is put in your cistern to save water when you flush.
However, they are only useful for those cisterns that hold 7 litres or more and do not have a dual flush system. This info is not available when you order one from your local provider.

Putting pretty much any solid object in a cistern will save you water, all you need to do is reduce the capacity of the tank.0 -
I'm not sure of the point of this - is it to advertise the freebie, or complain that it didn't work because the water co didn't know what sort of toilet cistern the op had.
