Hi

Have been trying to open an account on-line with these this afternoon, site keeps crashing out on me and their phone number is constantly engaged.

Their ISA's read well on here but am concerned that this may well be a reflection of their service. Anyone had previous experience they can update me/reassure me on??

Have had a carpetbagging account with them for 20 years but never used the service much. Last I heard they were a single office building society (with the most valuable mortgage portfolio per member) so maybe that's the bottleneck?

We've always dealt with them by post. They've been good at that.

ive been a member for 15 or so years. they're a nice bunch. but never deal with them online.

I opened an online saver this month.

Receipt of opening certificate still not here after 3 weeks. Online user ID did not come for ages (arrived today after chasing twice).

But they are a delight on the phone. Polite and helpful.

They gave me the transfer details by phone (sort code/account number etc) so I could make transfers in, + confirmed receict of transfers when I rang.

Just would have been nice to be able to log on and check for myself.

Sum up? Small outfit, friendly, struggling with demand.

Just as an update, I have finally been able to get hold of them by phone today and they no longer offer the ISA that was shown here. Might explain why their systems kept crashing.
