Laptop problem

My laptop keeps displaying pop ups (for loan companies, mainly) and "surveys", vaguely connected to the topics I am looking at.
I've deleted all dodgy programmes through the Control Panel. I've also run CC Cleaner and had a search round but can't work out where they are coming from!
I've already got the pop up blocker running and have run out of ideas.
Has anyone got any advice? Thank you!
