Yes no harm in doing both - it's what I did when I had one of their totally baseless invoices - I submitted on-line and followed up with a hard copy.
I also put words to the effect I was going to do both at the top of the appeal alongthe lines of
"Appeal submitted electronically via (web-site name) with hard copy also sent via post with certificate of posting obtained"
Edited add on - no harm in making sure the b*****rs have no wiggle room :-)0 -
If you do post then obtain a free certificate of posting from the post office and don't send recorded/signed for.0
