Hello
My Mum is with British Gas Price Promise July 2014.
I've just submitted a meter reading and it came up with a warning that it's significantly higher than they anticipated and to double check it, but I did and the reading is correct.
I've copied and pasted the estimated bill below, and from my calculations there will now be approx further £60 to add on, bringing her monthly usage over the winter to £90 per month! Seems very high.
She lives on her own in a three bedroom house, old heating system but the boiler is only 4 years old and serviced every year. The loft was insulated two years ago and the house is fully double glazed.
On average on a cold day, I would say the maxmium time with heating on would be 4 hours, some days less than that. She has a gas hob too. Was just curious if this seems normal, especially with the warning we had when keying it in?
