Home-made USB turntable - would it work?

    I just used a phono to phone cable and connected my Hi-Fi to my in port on my sound card and used Magix Audio Cleaning Lab to record and clean up the sound..

    Does the OP have an amp with a "phono input" and a "tape out" (I presume he might to go with the turntable). If so, hook up the "tape out" on the amp to the "line in" on the PC audio card and Bob's your uncle.
