Warranty Repair

Can any one give me advice, about 10 month ago I purchased a Kenwood multimedia system for my new car. This was bought from the Car Audio Centre in Manchester, it came with a 12 month warranty extended to 2 years if they fitted it, which they did.
About a month ago it stopped working, I phoned the shop who advised me to phone the repair shop and book it in.
I did this and took my car in, where the unit was removed, after several phone calls later I am now in the situation where it apparently requires a new nav board which is out of stock and have been told Kenwood are trying to source one.
My question is how long should I have to wait before either Kenwood or the shop either replace the unit or refund. Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you start playing hard ball then they will get your refund less a hefty charge for the use you have had.
Talk to them and ask them, ask what alternative resolution they might be able to offer if no board can be sourced.0 -
