Short 6 panel door for understairs cupboard

A family member has kindly offered to fit some internal doors for me all I have to do is supply said doors and no doubt a cup of tea or 20

1 downstairs door was already replaced (by previous owner) and I'd prefer that the new doors match this - 6 panel moulded white.
One of the doors needing to replaced is that on the understairs cupboard and I'm finding it 'impossible' to find a potential fit. It would need to be 1720mm x 685mm.

Any ideas?

You won't find a standard door that height. The width is ok as its a standard 2'3" wide door. What I suggest is measure the height of the 6 panelled door up to the bottom of the top small panels If this is close to 1720mm high your best bet is to cut the top 2 panels off and re lip the cut edge.

You may be able to trim some off the bottom and top and then re lip to make 1720mm if just cutting the top panels off doesn't work.

It becomes a 4 panelled door but its about the best you can do.

Thank you Leveller. I'll check with my cousin that re lipping is in his skill set. 4 panel will do the job just as well I'm sure :)

Actually I just found this 'tutorial' I'll get him to have a look and we can take it from there: http://www.finehomebuilding.com/item/20395/how-to-trim-a-hollow-core-door-to-height
