Not wanted adverts

In the last 2 weeks something has invaded my computer nearly every time I log onto a website IE logging into any of my bank accounts (as an example) usually after the first screen going to the second page of logging in also EBay and just about any website this web popsafelinks.com.com forces itself onto my screen advertising various products. It's driving me nuts, how do I get rid of it please ?

  • Hi people thank you for the great ideas, in between meals I started removing programs I felt were not needed. One of these was a file converter I was told I needed to convert a file, as it turned out I didn't anyway it appears to of sneaked in on the back of what I think was called FVL file converter. I removed that and calm returned to my computer, thank God
