To celebrate the wonderful, wintery, winner of the 2007 Costa Book of the Year, The Tenderness of Wolves; The Canadian Tourism Commission and Windows on the Wild have teamed up with Quercus to offer you a chance to visit 'wolf country' in Canada.

The prize is for two adults to take a five-day wilderness tour in Prince Albert National Park, learning about the life of the Wolf, its ecology and environment. With your guides you will search for these elusive creatures, as well as moose, otter, fox and elk.

The winners will stay in a cabin on the edge of the ice-bound lake, and have the opportunity to enjoy cross-country skiing, ice-fishing and ice skating, as joining the dog-sled teams on the trail in search of wolves.

There will be one winner drawn for this competition. The prize is for two adults (aged 18 years or over) travelling together, and comprises return economy flights from London, full board accommodation from lunch on Day 2 to lunch on Day 6, plus activities as described at time of winning. All additional room expenses are at winner's cost.

Prize must be booked by 30 September 2007. The prize is subject to availability and can be taken any time between 01/12/07 and 31/03/08, excluding the period 15/12/07 until 04/01/08.
