Hot water pressure

Hi, I have a Potterton Gold HE combi boiler and changed both the bath and kitchen taps to mixer taps over the weekend but seem to have lost a little bit of hot water pressure, the cold water pressure is fine. When I turned the water supply back on (there wasn't an isolation valve for the bath taps) a lot of air came through the hot taps and I'm wondering if I could still have air in the hot water pipes somewhere (or in the boiler). The pressure in the boiler is 1.5 bar and I topped that up recently which seemed to improve it slightly, is there anything else I could/should do?

The pressure gauge on the boiler has nothing whatsoever to do with the pressure coming out of your taps, no I doubt if you have any air in there, more likely the old taps were scaled up which red the bore making it look like you had more "pressure" in fact the pressure would have been the same but the flow rate may now have changed
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
