Finally Debt Free!!

After a 4 and a half year slog I’m finally debtfree!
Before I started my debt management plan Ithought I’d be forever in debt (stuck in a rut paying minimum payments offcredit cards, robbing Peter to pay Paul etc). Even when I started my Debt Management Plan back in 2009 I still thoughtI’d be forever in debt. I actually onlystarted my DMP really to reduce the monthly payments.....and now I’m here!!
So as encouragement to others in debt crisistry your best not to worry, there is light at the end of the tunnel (even ifthat tunnel seems too far away).
My only regret I have is not forcing all myaccounts into default. If I had, all my distressedaccounts would drop off my credit file next year. Anyway that’s another story.
Time to enjoy my disposable income!
Debt at Start of DMP in October 2009 - £45,000
