Just before the lock-down we bought a smallish Kenwood K23CM13 for our caravan. We didn't get time to try it out and now we're back and can use it, we find when using the convection oven only, the grill is permanently on even after it's reached temperature, the food is in, the timer has been set and started to count down. Consequently, the food burns after only a few minutes. I have a Panasonic at home which is brilliant and I'm pretty sure the grill doesn't stay on after it's reached temperature. Can anyone confirm the grill should not be on during convection cooking?

Sorry, I can’t answer that question although I would have thought it shouldn’t be – otherwise what’s the difference between convection and grill? I’ve got a Panasonic Combi oven and I love it, living alone it is much more economical to use this for small dishes than to heat my full size oven.Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.1

Is anybody aware of a company that manufactures a built in grill? I don’t want a microwave/grill or an oven/grill combo, just a grill! Seems like nobody makes them any more but I used the grill a lot on my old stand alone oven...help!0
