Harveys Furniture - Avoid

We bought two ex-display wood coffee tables on Harlow Harveys store on 22/Mar/2014.

At the time we saw it, the condition of the table is good.
At the time we come back to pick the table top, a fat staff name Gray use unprotected trolley moving the table top from the warehouse to my car. I means the metal of the trolley directly touch the table edge without any cloth or cardboard, and the trolley moved over lots of bumpy area before arrived my car.

After I got home, I found the edge of the coffee table is damaged/scratched.

I know it is a discounted ex-display cheap table, but it should not means poor service from the store. I feel I was cheated unfairly, because I bought some cheap ex-display table.

When I google for harveys complain, and I found lots of peoples complain the bad service/quality of the sofa from Harveys.

Not happy at all.

You make no mention of it, but have you actually complained to Harveys?

If so, what did they say?

I have a post (somewhere) about the same group - I bought from Reid in Aberdeen, same group tho, 18 month or so, full refund. Never use them again.
