Royal Mail redirection online...

Tried to apply, put in wrong dob for my partner and it declined however my current account showing the money has been taken, will it reappear in my bank soon?

Tried to do it again twice and said my card had an error, then I get a Royal Mail website error message on the redirection page saying its down and will be back up shortly!

Is anyone registered on RM site that can check if the page comes up with the error? It's after the 'apply for new redirection' button.

I tried with 3 different cards and all the details were correct, but it kept saying there had been an error when I tried to pay.
Such a farce, had to do it in person in the end!

Thanks I'm moving Friday! Not sure I'll be able to get there in person! How much ID will I need? Will I need my partner to come also or can I just take his ID?

I ended up going in to the PO after I'd moved!
You need to get the application form in your name with your partner's details added as the other person. You only need your details and only you need to attend. You need one form of photo ID and one of proof of address. So passport/driving licence, and credit card statement, TWO utility bills, council tax payment book...the proof of address has to be within the last 3 months.

Click on the red plus that says Apply and Buy, then follow the instructions for the at the post office one. You can get the form at the PO or print it. Hope that helps!

Thanks Rosi! I'm hoping the money will reappear soon, it's just showing my available balance down by £66! Don't want to pay twice! X

Call them tomorrow, see if you can either get a payment receipt or refund x
