Hiya,
I'm after some advice please!
My husband has had approx 8 loans with LLoyds TSB over the years all with PPI that was missold as he has always been self employed.
We approached LLoyds over a year ago and our claim was rejected, we started filling in the ombudsman forms but with a house move and wedding in the middle the forms got put to one side.
I've been doing a bit of research today and am I write in thinking that as we didn't apply via the ombudsman within 6 months of our rejection we are now not able to use the ombudsman services?
Where can we go from here?
I'd really appreciate any advise.
Thanks in advance.

To be blunt, probably nowhere.
I am assuming that in your final response letter Lloyds advised you that you had six months to go to FOS if dissatisfied? If that is the case and you've missed the deadline then there's not much more you can do. FOs does have the power to waive the deadline but only in exceptional circumstances and I don't honestly consider that what you have described is likely to qualify.
Sorry to sound defeatist but I am trying to be realistic.0 -
Hi,
No I appreciate your input - I figured this may be the case.
Didn't want to waste time filling out numerous forms to be told that we've missed the deadline.
I'll double check the Lloyds letter. So frustrating - on numerous occasions the PPI sections were already ticked on the T&C's and he was also advised that he wouldn't get the product if he didn't take the cover!
Thank you.0
