Car insurance NCB being withheld
Hi, Hoping someone on here can help me with a situation im having with my previous car insurance company 'Flux Direct'
Had insurance with them and payments were spread over the year, i defaulted on two payments and they have cancelled my policy with themselves, they are now asking for the remainder of the years insurance money before releasing my NCB.
Are the in the right to hold onto this??
Any help will be very grateful

You get a years NCB for each full year you hold a policy. Much as I think Flux usually deserve a verbal kicking you can't really fault them in this case.i would imagine so as i have had the same done to me, but my downside they wouldn't give me back the ncd when i paid them so i have to start from scratch
Probably because the policy was cancelled before the year was up, what you ended up paying was probably a cancellation fee.0 -

The new company may accept this initially but they do check which means they will be after you for the difference in premium and will cancel your policy if you don't pay it. You then have to answer yes to the Have you ever had a policy cancelled question in future and accept that your premium will be loaded because you said yes.0 -
