£74 gwp when buying 2 products

http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-hof-Site/default/Search-Show?q=Lancome%20gift%20set

They have mothers days sets where the price is the same as if you just wanted to buy the main product, I wanted to try visionnaire as the reviews seemed good.

You can obviously buy cheaper products to get the gwp.

I haven't shopped on here for a while and this time spent over £50 to get free del but in the past I have added an extra item of clothing to get me to £50 then returned it.

I think if you buy a 3rd item you get another gwp. Think it was cleanser and toner??? Saw a flyer in HoF yesterday.

  • Does anyone know exactly what is in the free gift?

If you add two items then your free gift will come up in the bag.

I just placed an order for 2 x Nail Varnishes.
018 in an off Black Colour
    009 in a Pink colour

    Came to £12.50 plus £13.00
    Minus 50p via Nectar Eshops

    So, for £25.

I will probably sell on the nail varnishes (making a loss on those obviously) as the gift looked too good to miss out on!

  • Eeeeek! I went for it!! Need a new face cream so decided to treat myself.
  • Any set that includes many samples is a good way to try out new things, without spending too much on one single item that you may not like.
I'm happy there's a perfume in there too, just not sure what it'll smell like!

  • Really toying with the idea. I've already tried the perfume and really liked it. Very summery and lasts long. Also tried Genifique and found it really good as an anti-aging serum. I suspect that the samples of creams, serums and perfume wouldn't be more than 5ml each. So the question is, is it worth it?hmmm
Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!

From previous GWPs, I can say the white bottle of cleanser is 60ml, the two pots of moisturiser (one being hydra zen day cream so the other probably the night cream) are 15ml each, the genefique is 7ml and the perfume 4ml.
Tempted for about 30 seconds - but generally get branded facial washes (and good quality facial moisturisers) from the 99p shop, have an issue with throwing money down the drain (literally).

But many of the products are useful for the handbag / travel. Can anyone tell me what the perfume is, and confirm the shade of lipstick?

If the bottles are the same size as previous Lancome GWPs (and the same as the ones on the Lancome.co.uk site's GWP) they will be....

    Advanced Genifique 7ml
    Hypnose Mascara 2ml
Hydra Zen Day Cream SPF 15 15ml
    Hydra Zen Night 15ml
    La Vie Est Belle 4ml
    Galateis Douceur Cleanser 50ml

Estimating the sizes of the others.....
    Advanced Visionnaire 15ml
    Exfoliance Confort 30ml
Hydra Intense Masque (I think!) 30ml
La Rouge Absolue Lipstick (about 1/4 full size)

If I'm right, the GWP is worth around £100.

Lancome are known - especially on their own site - for more generous GWPs, that's why I was surprised at the size of this one, it's a stonker, and there have been some VERY generous ones on their own site before this!

I should say, the perfume is one of my all-time favourites, it's a beautiful scent!
