Husband's poor credit score

Hi can anyone help please? My husband has a poor credit score, we've done the "check your eligibility" tool on the site, whereas my credit score is excellent, I receive 90% for all cards. Is there anyway I could apply for a 0% balance transfer to pay off his cards?
Thank you for your help and ideas.

Yes, as long as the card is from a different stable, and you don't mind taking on his debt.
  • how do I go about it?
  • Sorry for ignorance here, but can I apply for a 0% balance transfer in my name and ask for my husband's credit cards to be repaid using my new 0% card?

most BT cards only ask the card number and not the owners name

some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%

  • surely, once I give the card number for my husband's cards, it will become apparent that they are not in my name?

most CC do not specify that the other card must be in your name: some do but you cna' use them but most don't .
It's common place for transfer between husband and wife or partners

read the rules before doing the transfer

My partner and I did a balance transfer, and names were not asked. We did it from my sister's credit card, to our own 0% for 18 months Barclycard (was for a group holiday).

The surnames weren't even similar... You should be fine.

Yes, we've done this. But the banks have to be different.

Neither of these statements are true, as people do not have credit scores.
