I lost my ESA appeal, unsure of what to do now

Hey guys. I was disallowed ESA in May 2012. I sent in my appeal and I had my oral hearing on 12th March this year. That's almost two years of being on appeal.
My condition is anxiety related. I'm a lot better now than what I was 2 years ago, so I'm sort of okay with losing ESA. I went from having 18 points to having 0 points.
After the hearing was over, the ESA rep told me I would get a letter in a few weeks time telling me when my last ESA payment would be. I was expecting it to be around a month or so. But today I got a P45 in the post saying my ESA stopped on 19th March - that was the day I got my last payment.
That's making me think that guy gave me the wrong information. If I was told it would be soon, I would have gone to apply for JSA. You lose the first 3 days of the claim, so by the time I get there on Monday I'll have lost a week.
But from reading various other posts about ESA, it could be possible to not be entitled to JSA because of losing an ESA appeal. Is that true? I need to be able to get something, I have bills to pay.
Oh, my current line is valid until the end of April. Would that affect things when trying to apply for JSA?

You might be able to apply for ESA again if your condition affects your ability to work.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

It can sometimes take a few days to a week for things to stop.
However, ...
On the other topic.
You can in principle apply for ESA again - as it's been over 6 months.
If you wish to claim JSA - you can - as what has effectively happened is that you have been found fit - invalidating the sicknote.
If you wish to claim JSA - do not mention the sicknote.
Asking for an appointment with the disability employment advisor at the jobcentre may be appropriate - they may be able to help with negotiating a 'softer' initial jobseekers agreement that will help you ease into jobseeking, rather than one that might cause a relapse.0 -
Thank you rogerblack, I will do that.

Another problem is that I've been on Permitted Work for the last few months, teaching one guitar lesson a week. I would get that taken off my JSA, wouldn't I? It's complicated how unfit for work folk are allowed to work while on ESA, and fit for work people are penalised if they try to help themselves get by.{Removed by Forum Team}0 -
If you're single, you can earn £5 a week before it's taken from JSA. In some citcumstances, it's £20 a week.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

the 3 Waiting days don't apply if you are going from one benefit to another.rogerblack wrote: »It can sometimes take a few days to a week for things to stop.

I made my fresh claim last Tuesday and was told there is a 3 day waiting. I also had to apply to have my claim started from 20th instead of 24th because of the whole not-being-given-right-info thing. So there's a chance I'll end up having to live on 1 week's money for 2 weeks. I'll ask when I sign on Wednesday.{Removed by Forum Team}0 -
I recently got no points for ESA waiting for mandatory reconsideration in mean time have to claim JSA my claim for incap ended on the 28th feb and I got 2 weeks money then I claimed JSA from the 1st march to the 14th of march so you can see no 3 days waiting I think you been given wrong info.definitivefreak wrote: »I made my fresh claim last Tuesday and was told there is a 3 day waiting.
