:rotfl:yes...but it's fine right now, just want to do my best. I read all about Ka's and their issues, and had one years ago, but the size suits me, and the price of course.

I don't have a power washer or access to do any work on car, parked on road. Will chat with MOT tester.

To properly wax-inject a car is not an easy "no tools" DIY job. There are a large number of box sections that need to be properly covered, and that'll involve removing pieces of trim, drilling holes, protecting the exposed steel on those holes, and plugging them afterwards. And that, of course, pre-supposes that there really is no rot already present. The problem with the Ka is that by the time the rot starts to become visible on the shiny bits, the hidden bits are riddled.

Adrian, your last sentence could refer to me,, being of an age where the shiny bits might look ok, but the inside is riddled!

It all nearly became a moot point, as an hour ago, on reversing into someone's drive, I drove over a small wall that wasn't visible (hedges) and couldn't move forwards or backwards. Fortunately my nephew helped me out and we got the car over the wall, with minor damage. It just goes to reinforce my belief that I will be giving up driving in a 2-3 years, but that's a subject for another time. ;)

Thanks for all the responses, very much appreciated. :T
