First year 49 yr old student wanting to change- implications

I am not happy with my BSc psychology degree, but have been getting good feedback from my head of year, and am set to pass the first year.

I am not enjoying it, as it is a course trying to prove it is a science, and so a lot of SPSS stats, and not what I wanted at all.

Coupled with the fact that my mental health and family problems are badf at the moment, and have just been awarded PIp on the enhanced daily living rate, I need to destress, and do something I enjoy, as in a subject which I am passionate about.

How would student funding be affected if I change to a different degree in the same uni from September? It may be a different route, as in health and nutrition, or something similar like a BA in psychology, psychotherapy and counseling?
