    I know. What I think Mrs Arcanum (sp?) means is that between the incomes of around 40 and 60k, students do not get a grant but can borrow more money. So whilst they have more money at university, they are borrowing more so pay back more than those students from higher income families who cannot borrow more.

    My parents never gave me as much money as my friends with full grants plus loan. They personally felt that was far in excess of what I needed and could not afford it anyway. But everyone is in a different situation.

    Nottingham does not seem to and that is her first choice. They have said to get back to them once results are known and finances secured.
