Declaring claims ??

Hello,

something just popped up in my head

if you are a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in an accident - nothing to do with you - you were just a passenger

and you made a injury claim does that mean when you get your own car insurance you need to declare this claim?

this thread is to do with the other thread thats going on regarding not declaring claims nothing to do with me or anyone

can someone tell me what do they make out of that above? do they want to know or not

Keep a copy of the web page. (There are various add ons to browsers that can make pdf copies).

Then lets consider:

You didn't have an accident.
You were not driving when an accident occured
Nobody claimed on your policy
You were not driving anybody else's vehicle when an accident occurred.

The last bit - all accidents while a driver was insured under your or any other policy.

You had better tell them about my prang in the summer of 2011 then. Nothing to do with you but it happened. It is a nonsense!

You should disclose "details of all accidents, losses , thefts, incidents or claims in the last 3 years".

Well that's what it says.

They are particularly interested in incidents that involved motor vehicles, implying that they are also interested in incidents that didn't.

That's not how I would interpret their question
