Basically, because the totals for the rear were in the 'green' nothing wasn't done to them EVEN THOUGH I paid for a 4 wheel alignment (not two!) and the rear wheels have diffent totals!!!!!

When I have the tracking done on my car I give the mechanic the settings and tell him that's what I want. Being "in the green" is not really sufficient.

Would it just be simpler to change the entire wheels?

No. Changing the wheels won't achieve anything.

You could do with finding out if the rear camber on your car is adjustable or not. I'd try the Mazda forum suggested above. It's also worth checking there what the correct numbers are.

Out of interest, was the garage you went to listed on the alignmycar site I suggested above? Not all alignment systems or mechanics are equal I'm afraid.

Did your left and right rears wear the same amount or was one worse than the other?

This might sound stupid, or stupidly obvious anyway, but are you checking tyre pressures regularly? If you run them under pressure, you can wear them out quicker and some people run their tyres ridiculously low because they don't check them often enough.
