I've just got a Galaxy s4 mini phone, anyone know a good sat nav type app I can download. And in the spirit of MSE, it has to be free!!

And in the spirit of Android, just use the inbuilt google navigation. It's hard to beat.

Put your destination into maps and when it's been found tap the car icon bottom right and it will give you a choice of routes. You have to have GPS turned on, obviously...;)Ah right, I didn't know it had one!
What I know about smartphones can be written on the back of stamp!! Cheers I'll give it a go, and if I get stuck I'll phone my granddaughter!!

Also keep it charging from the lighter socket - GPS burns battery life otherwise.

If you use Google maps you can download an area to your phone it does have a limited range though view the area you want on the screen and type "ok maps" into the search.0
