Hi,
I bought a Chromecast the other day, which is brilliant. Just wondered if anyone knows why the chromecast shows up in your list of wifi hotspots on your phone?

Because that's how it works. You connect to it just like you would connect to a router and then stream your stuff from your phone.Never Knowingly Understood.

This is not correct. Your phone connects directly to the Chromecast for the initial setup only, to send your home wifi details to the Chromecast. After that the Chromecast connects directly to your home wifi.0
