Nationwide MPPI advice please

I would be very happy to have the MPPI reinstated again if I could and pay for it still for the duration of the mortgage. They have cancelled it now without any warning, so effectively broken the verbal contract we had and given incorrect/bad advice. Because that was a specific requirement we stated and they obviously knew about the mortgage term which would still have years to go after 2018 at the time. They are suppose to be the experts and listen to you, that is their job and why they are paid.

There was apparently some MPPI cover around up to the age of 70 from a fwe insurers, probably more money, but it is too late anyway now.

You never had a "verbal contract". The terms of the insurance you purchased have been available to you for sixteen years.

Correct, it's too late now. You didn't check (or pay) for an enhanced policy that covered you until you were 70. You can't complain now that you were sold a lesser policy unless you can prove that you demanded a more expensive policy.
