Morning all,
well I fell asleep giggling to a set of videos I saw on Youtube last night and carried on watching them when I woke up this morning.
Plans are already changing already. Hubby is working this afternoon. Looks like taking our Grandson with us when we go shopping but my daughter wants him back at 1.30.
The headboard I bought yesterday for our bed doesn't look as though its going to be put up today.
'Youngest' is much worse than he was yesterday. Looks like the doctors on Monday if he doesn't improve. If he gets any worse I'm getting a doctor in.
Onwards and forwards,

Morning all
We were up at 6:30 as DGD wanted to finish making a teddy we started last night & I had to drop her home by 8:30 in time to take DD to work.
I have more of DD's washing on the line along with my own, DGD fed the fish, I had crumpets for breakfast & hubby had scrambled egg & mushrooms on toast.
I've bottomed the kitchen & washed the downstairs floors & I have pork chops cooking for lunch today, next I need to vacuum the stairs & up stairs.
Later on I shall cut out some taggies & bibs & tomorrow I'll sew them all up, I'll post pics on my blog later. I also need to empty out the camping cot as it's become a dumping area, once it's empty it can be folded a go back under my bed & there will be room in the spare room for more propagators for hubby's veg.
Time I served lunch.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon from a sunny but cold Glasgow. Been out doing what seems like fifteen chores. Now sitting drinking tea and hoping to catch up with a couple of recorded programme (NCIS and The Mentalist).
Good news is that am moving into my newly renovated place on two weeks time -at long last. Four months of gales on the west coast made all the work go solely but I don't care, we can now get in.
Won't be very OS for a while. But all those months of being very very OS are now paying off.
I really do read each day and follow the adventures of everyone. As I rise at 5.30 and am out the house by 6.00am I can usually only muster energy to read by the end of the working day.
My dodgy knee is bearing up. Almost stopped the mega painkillers and only use them a night cos that's the most difficult time. Not keen on the replacement op just yet.
For my new life of 'lazing around' I want to buy a bike, with a basket, and maybe, just very very maybe get a dog. Labs are a fav but I think too big and too bouncy and a little slavering. Dogs will take a lot more thinking about. Bicycle is a definite.
Am off tomorrow for a weeks holiday. Need a rest away from work.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.0 -
Afternoon All
Put 3 loads of washing on the line, it was blowing away and then we had such torrential rain I couldn't even go out and get it! Oh well, the airers it will be.
Went for some bits and bobs this morning and then to collect the new mattresses. Just need to work out how to get rid of the old one. Given DS2s room a coat of paint and I will try to give it another go later - I have to wait up to collect DD after an evening out so it will give me something to do.
Went to H0mebase for a new roller sleeve (gosh don't I treat myself!) and saw a light fitting I liked so that has been ordered. Everything I try to buy at the moment is out of stock - ordered a new shed this morning from Argoos, it said it will be delivered within 14 days, when I had paid for it it said delivery within 42 days! The website wanted me to pick a delivery date but to be honest I'm not sure what I am doing tomorrow let alone the middle of May!
Wont have much for tea as DD is out, maybe a salad later on. I was so hungry earlier I bought a pastie from a well known high street baker!
Have a good weekend all. Take care. XX0 -
