I don't think I have ever seen a t-shirt for £11 in Next, I get most of the kids stuff from there because they are much cheaper than Adams and the quality is far better (Adams has gone about the same quality of primark and still raised their priced)

I went the other day, £8 for 4 patterned, not plain, t-shirts, about £7 for a pair of trousers and £5 for a pair of shorts (or there was the 2 for £5 items)

Nor have I .. it's a Red/Yellow/Blue Polo shirt... I had asked MIL to pick me up 2 outfits from Next on her way through to me this morning as I was coming to work and couldn't be bothered searching for clothes then ironing them.. and they needed new clothes anyway! I had given her the money yesterday so she could go to ASDA for us.

£11... unbelievable! They were gorgeous though and I had no time to whinge so I dressed them and off we went!

Next and Asda are practicially the same. They both have the same designer and used to both use the same manufacturer, dont know if they still do.
The baby stuff in asda used to be identical as the baby stuff in next. I find next sizes are rubbish. My daughter has got a next top in age 3 and age 7 and they both fit her (shes 6) and again with a couple of skirts.

They used to be fab but over the years have gone down hill. Thier sales are good but again still quite pricey. I much prefer BHS or TK Max. Tk max you can pick up a designer outfit for a decent price of and of course as its designer its of good quailty (most of the time lol).

I only buy Next from their clearance outlets or in the sale. I also get some clothes from there passed on to DD fom a relative whose husband works for them. The 2nd hand stuff I get are in good condition after DD has had it, and I now pass on to another relative.

Having a boy and a girl, I wouldn't be passing much if anything on, so to pay full price for Next stuff just wouldn't be worth it. If I had several children/same sex children and an outfit was going to do more than 1 child, I might buy more there.

I find *most of the time* Primark stuff has had it, after 1 childs wear. Today I've sorted out a load of DS clothes that are now too small. Ther was a pair of Pjs which have always been thin and horrible and convinced they must have been bought at a cheap shop, I looked at the label. Imagine my shock when I saw Debenhams written in it. . I know it was a 2nd or ex surplus stock though cos of the black mark thru the label, so thankfully whoever it was who bought it didn't pay a fortune.

Lets face it babies are not in clothes for that long so would you get the wear out of them - probably not.
My sisters little boy is dressed in a lot of "labels" - all got from ebay & charity shops!!!

    Get searching!!!

IMHO Next are pretty good BUT you do have to choose what you buy, some is a good price, some is not.
The clotehs shops round here are rubbish and I never seems to have time these days to go far shopping so the next cataloge is quite good for me.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

Remember Gap clothes may have been made by kids- so how come they're so dear??

NEver been in Gap, however I do like Next/Monsoon sales- the clothes wash well and last before getting bullied/washed out looking. PLease don't tell me they use child labour too....
