According to the March newsletter the top Roamler in the UK got 1480 XP with only 8 getting over 1,000 XP.

Given that the most rewarding tasks (that I've seen) earn around 13p per XP that means the top earner got around £190 at best with a handful making about £130 a month.

It's not bad but not exactly life changing either. That's a very generous estimate as plenty of tasks earn more like 5p per XP and a lot nothing at all. I got 480 XP and that only netted me £10!

I'll keep dipping in and aim to make up to £50 a month if I'm lucky, there's not been much in my neck of the woods recently.

I've managed to make £50 and have gained over 1400 XP in the 10 days that i've been on it, so it's working for me! I wouldn't say no to an extra £100+ per month! I suppose it depends on your area / circumstances: I live in a large city, travel about 15 miles out for work and my gf lives in another large city so I have a lot of opportunities to Roam. Hoping to add another £4.50 after work with the chrysanthemum and mushroom checks too.

I'd say it's worth doing the tasks that only offer XP as the more XP you gain, the more tasks become available. I was able to join without an invite, but my gf can't join without an invite and that is one of the perks of getting to level 3.

Hi all, has anyone done the ice cream video task?

I cant get my video to upload to the wetransfer site they ask you to use, and was wondering if anyone else had done the task and managed it or also struggled.

I've done the task and uploading the video to Wetransfer was pretty easy too. Are you using an iPhone?

I'm sure lots of people would be happy to help you with a code....as long as you weren't in their area lol
  • I just e-mailed uksupportATroamler.com and they gave me a code :)

Hi wayme yep i was using my iphone and wetransfer will only seem to find photos not videos. I used the normal camera on my phone so it wasnt formatted oddly or anything. Just couldnt find an explanation, so ive eventually given up with wetransfer and im going to try dropbox instead, see if that works. Hey ho probably one of those things! Just a bit frustrating we I know it worked for other people!

Hmm not really sure. I just attached my phone to my laptop with the lightening cable and then could easily find my iPhone from there. You have to make sure that you unlock your phone when it's hooked up to the computer and select that you trust this computer (a box should come up prompting you to either trust, or not)
