Balance Transfer Credit Cards

Ive just done an eligibilty check on here and shocked to see every card company bar one would turn me down.
Im in fulltime employment and have never missed a payment with my existing card so why is my result so bad ?
Its not as if its worth using the one that would accept me at 0% until October this year !!

    Affordability?

Owing a large amount compared to your available limit. eg an £800 debt on a £1k card.

No I Im nowhere near my limit. In fact they raised it upto £5000 despite the fact I rarely use it. last time was for car hire back in September.

It could be something you don't know anything about, the only way to check is if you check your credit file.

I would recommend Noddle, it's free and will give you a basic look at your file and then you'll probably understand why the eligibility checker seems to think you're a risk.

  • Noddle use your card details to verify your identity.

Why not read the information presented to you?...
Why do you need my card details?

We need to check your identity with your bank.

Don't worry your card will NOT be charged at any time – your Noddle credit report is free for life.

Do you keep my card details?

No, they're only used to check your identity and then they're removed.
  • Why not read the information presented to you?...

    I did !!
My query is why ask for it when others dont

Which "others" don't ask for card details when signing up to view your credit files? Even the free trials with Equifax and Experian ask for card details.
