Help needed

Hi there I have question

I live in a house which me and my dad own jointly dad 65 retired and on pension an I am working full time. my mother who dose not live with us is currently on employment support allowance. If she gets back together with my dad and lives with us what benefit will she entitled to. Thank you

    It depends.
    Assuming she's been on ESA for over a year.
    If she is currently on contribution based ESA (if she was working as an employed earner significantly in the last two tax years before she claimed ESA or IB) and in the support group, then she may continue to receive this after she moves in.

    If she is on income-based ESA, then his pension will reduce, or eliminate her ESA.

    If she is on certain rates of DLA/PIP - he may be entitled to claim carers allowance for her, and if he's entitled to pension credit - this may lead to some more money.

    She has not worked for the last 15 years and and also gets DLA and so dose my dad.
