A brief question RE parking charge details

I have waited for NTK as per instructions, which arrived today 52 days after the 'parking contravention'. I shall be appealing to UKPC and then POPLA when they reject it.

So...my original ticket and the 'parking charge details' they stated on the letter are not the same. Parking charge date was in January but on the NTK it says March. Also, the parking charge reference number is different from the windscreen ticket when compared to the reference number on the NTK letter.

Is this something to include within my appeal to UKPC and, later down the line, POPLA?

I think I would just send the usual template first appeal in the NEWBIES sticky thread, verbatim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Some companies are quite confusing when it comes to dates, they will often have an 'issue date' which is when they print off the notice. They will then, buried somewhere, have a date which relates to when the incident happened.

UKPC administration processes are really quite dreadful at the best of times however if both the parking charge number and dates of parking events are different - is it possible that you have picked up
    2 different parking charges here?

Nope, it's the same contravention as the picture provided in the letter is the same place I parked in January.
  • They truly are shocking :D

IMO UKPC are easy to beat at POPLA in any case so I would not put this in case it muddies the waters so to speak regarding the keeper and driver. But afterwards when appeal has been won - would be well worth a complaint to the BPA and DVLA ....

Just to update, this has been cancelled due to 'administrative error' and I was sent a most apologetic letter.

Still had 'how to pay' details on the back though, what a waste of ink! ;)

"Administrative error" can be translated to mean "we thought we had a sucker here , but he asked too many questions , so we are backing down",
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
