Is it OK to fit laminate wood flooring on top of carpet??

Try a local specialist flooring supplier or search ebay and the internet.
You can probably get it a lot cheaper than B&Q.

Carpet would have too much give in it unless its really cheap indrustrial type stuff.
I spent £10 at wickes on underlay, where does the extra zero come in.0 -
Fit good underlay, will make a big difference to the feel of the floor!! Also its not done properly it can feel very cold, learn from my mistake!!!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0
