Travel Insurance Family Policy ?

Options
Sorry if this is a really daft question but if I book a family annual policy do we all have to travel together ?

Myself and partner are going to America for 10 days at the end of August and its cheaper to get an annual policy, also only a few quick more to include our 17 year old daughter on the policy. She's not coming with us on the USA trip but we are planning a family trip to Lanzarote in winter so it makes sense to include her on the annual policy.

So, when you book a family annual policy can you leave someone behind so to speak ? !

It's different with every policy - some may allow independant travel for dependant children if they qualify in terms of being in full time education, permanantly living with you at the same address (and maybe travelling with another adult) but some policies may not cover independant travel for dependant children at all.

The best thing to do is give them a quick ring and find out if it doesn't state it in the policy wording.
